The company

Marval Software Limited is a company that specializes in IT Service Management software. The company was founded in 1989 by two former systems and infrastructure architects, Don Page and Greg Pritchett. Marval Software Limited was born out of a need for standardization and increased consistency in service delivery in the global production environment.

How it startedPhilips start Marval ITSM

While working at Philips Research Laboratories in Eindhoven, Holland, they recognized the need for standardization, increased consistency in service delivery, and continual service improvement. By 1989, they had moved to global roles at Philips Semiconductors, where they identified the need for a tool to support their teams of engineers and newly developed support processes. After much research, they concluded that there were no tools fit for purpose and decided to fill this void, leading to the birth of Marval Software Limited.

Marval today

Marval Software Limited is a trusted partner to both public and private sector organizations worldwide, enabling support teams to deliver outstanding service management and customer experiences to colleagues and consumers around the globe. The company's comprehensive portfolio of products and services is designed around the modern organization's needs, with people as their greatest asset.

Marval MSM

Marval's approach to Service Management prioritizes people before process and technology. The company believes that great service is provided by great people, following great processes, and supported by great technology. With this philosophy in mind, Marval developed the industry’s first people-centric platform for IT Service Management, Marval MSM.

Marval's historic Milestones

1989:  Marval is formed by ITSM pioneers Don Page and Greg Pritchett. Their strategy is to move from a reactive helpdesk model to a more proactive integrated ITSM approach. At this point in time, there was no other ITSM software and only six helpdesk software products worldwide.
